
Dr. Kristy Jackson is a board-certified adult psychiatrist and Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association with experience working in inpatient, outpatient and psychiatric emergency settings. She considers it an honor to guide others along their journey to wellness and employs a collaborative treatment approach with her patients. In her non-clinical work, she has enjoyed building teams of healthcare professionals who provide outstanding care to psychiatric patients. She has also offered her insight and expertise as a part of various workgroups including but not limited to recruiting efforts; improving diversity equity and inclusion; improving workflow; and developing new inpatient treatment protocols during the novel coronavirus pandemic.
Dr. Jackson completed her undergraduate studies at Emory University with a major in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology. She completed her medical and post graduate medical education at the Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA. Dr. Jackson is also passionate about teaching and has served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Morehouse School of Medicine’s Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. She is the proud parent of three energetic and curious school-aged children. She enjoys creative writing, cooking and travel in her free time.
