
Shar Webb, PMHNP-BC, is a highly qualified Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a strong educational foundation and extensive clinical experience. She completed her advanced degree at Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, KY. Shar also holds two bachelor’s degrees: a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of South Alabama in Mobile, AL, obtained in 2017, and a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA.
Shar began her career in medical technology, where she conducted laboratory tests in various hospital and clinical settings. She then transitioned to nursing, where she has dedicated over seven years to working with both children and adults. Her experience spans diverse settings, including pediatric and neonatal intensive care units, pediatric home health, pediatric psychiatric inpatient care, and substance misuse treatment for both pediatric and adult populations.
Shar’s clinical focus includes the treatment of depression, anxiety, substance misuse, mood instability, trauma, psychosis, and co-occurring disorders. Her broad healthcare experience has equipped her with exceptional communication skills, enabling her to effectively engage with clients and their families from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Shar is committed to delivering empathetic, safe, and patient-centered care, tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, participating in wellness activities, and contributing to her community.
